credit360 is a successful, entrepreneurial Cambridge-based software company. We provide a web-based system that allows large corporate customers and organisations gather, manage and communicate their sustainability data, including environmental data such as CO2 emissions.

We launched our current software suite in 2003, and we're now leaders in this software market. Our clients include major retailers, manufacturers, energy companies and banks in the UK, Europe and around the world.

We have a talented team of developers, who have the ability and confidence to write code all the way up the stack from the database through to the web server and browser. Individuals are dedicated, motivated and manage their own day-to-day workloads.

Our products are written in C# and PL/SQL, with some C++ and XSLT. On the browser we use a lot of JavaScript as well as some Flash.

We are looking for two junior and two senior software developers to join our team. If you're passionate about writing software and you have excellent problem solving skills, then we have an exciting career opportunity for you - one that could have you applying your eye for detail to cross-browser web development or enjoying the challenge of working with our high-performance calculation engine.

To join us in a junior role, you do not necessarily need to hold a degree in computer science or have commercial development experience under your belt, but you will need to be a quick learner with a demonstrable natural ability to work on software. You'll definitely have some programming experience, you'll know a bit about databases and SQL, and you'll enjoy having your analytical and problem solving skills pushed to the limit. We will support you as you gain experience and help you to grow to take on more responsibilities within the team.

To join us in a senior role, you will have a number of years of commercial development experience with ASP.NET and C#, and you'll either have experience working with Oracle or the confidence to learn how to apply your SQL Server experience to an unfamiliar RDBMS. You'll be at peace developing cross-browser AJAX web applications. You'll be itching to show off your design and coding skills. Most of all, you'll understand the difference between hacking together a working solution and crafting well thought out, maintainable, production quality code. You'll have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to use those to explain complex software concepts to clients when necessary. You don't want to be a small cog in a big machine; you're looking to work in a small, flexible team where you can make a real difference.

These positions are primarily based in Histon, Cambridge, but some international travel may be required.
